Item 5.02.Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On January 10, 2020, Richard Scranton, M.D. resigned as the Chief Medical Officer of Pacira BioSciences, Inc. (the “Company”), effective January 24, 2020. Dr. Scranton has decided to pursue an opportunity at a private, early-stage biotechnology company. Dr. Scranton will continue to serve as a consultant to the Company through March 31, 2020. A search for his replacement is underway.
