Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
As of June 16, 2021, Donald C. Manning, M.D., Ph.D., ceased service as the Chief Medical Officer of Pacira BioSciences, Inc. (the “Company”). Any payments or benefits relating to his departure will be as set forth in his employment agreement with the Company as previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission as Exhibit 10.1 to the Company’s Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2021. Roy Winston, M.D., Chief Clinical Officer, will assume the duties of Dr. Manning on an interim basis, including any planned clinical objectives, and ongoing operations are expected to continue as planned. A search for Dr. Manning’s replacement is underway.
